From the experience of the DiMMi project organized by the Archive of Diaries of Pieve Santo Stefano, in collaboration with Anghiari Dance Hub, Teatro di Anghiari
and Kanterstrasse Teatro is born the interest to create a MULTI-ETHNIC YOUTH COMPANY of Natiscalzi DT.
The DiMMi project developed in 2017 and 2018 within the MigrArti Prize and led to the meeting of the multi-ethnic community of Valdarno, around Arezzo. Despite the
cancellation of the MigrArti project by the government, our desire to carry on the work started with the young interpreters was unequivocal. The group is composed of under 35s, from Albania,
Nigeria, India, the Dominican Republic, and Italy, united by the desire to experiment, learn and share: a real "Dance Tribe" to affirm the importance of contamination and inclusion, to tell our
origins through dance, and the present through the performative act.
The Cultural Center "Le Fornaci" of Terranuova Braciolini, managed by Kanterstrasse Teatro, has become the home of our research, contamination and
production.
The MULTI-ETHNIC YOUTH COMPANY directed by Tommaso Monza and Claudia Rossi Valli, was officially formed in 2019 and to date are part of it: Cristabel Ajighevi, Seyi
Aluku, Sylvia Aluku, Annamaria Coco De La Cruz, Judriva Davidhi, Hillary Garuba, Valeria Grasso, Divine Itepu, Ludovica Messina, Yarul Sharma
